Yes. I love the Dart sedan but a hatch would be better.

Default Question of the Week Would you buy a Dart hatchback before a Dart sedan?

The Dodge Dart is being sold as a 5-door hatchback in China as the Fiat Ottimo.

Click here for more information on the Ottimo and the liklihood of this model coming to the US.

If the Ottimo arrived in the US as the Dodge Dart hatchback, would you be more inclined to buy that over a Dart sedan?

I'd like to get a 5 door hatch for my next car. I would definitely buy this Dart if it is better than the Focus ST that I've got my eye on.

looks too much like the Focus for me.

I think the sedan is a bit more stylish and looks more performance oriented rather than a fake sporty appearance.
Focus hatchback=fake sporty and cheap looking.

No, the modern day "hatchbacks" are just stationwagons. When older cars featured hatchbacks (Dodge Daytona, GM F-bodies, Talon/Laser/Eclipse, etc.) I didn't mind it, but if they wouldn't have had their hatchbacks they would have been just as attractive if not more. I personally have never liked the modern compact stationwagons that they label as hatchbacks (Ford Focus, Caliber/Compass, Golf, etc). Stationwagon will never be cool in my eyes no matter what. They are the FamilyTruckster. If they Magnum couldn't pull it off with the 6.1L Hemi, nothing can.
