Chrysler Sales Rise
Ford, GM Sales Fall, Chrysler Sales Rise

The automakers are reporting their August sales numbers and so far it was a rough month.
Ford Motor reported August vehicle sales fell 8.4%, coming in worse than the Kelley Blue Book estimate for a decline of 6.8%. Ford’s July sales fell 3%.
General Motors reported August vehicle sales fell 5.2%, slightly better than the Kelley Blue Book estimate for a decline of 5.4%. GM’s July sales fell by 1.9%.
Fiat Chrysler was the lone bright spot of the Big-3, reporting an increase in August vehicle sales of 3%, beating the Kelley Blue Book estimate for a fractional increase. Fiat Chrysler’s July sales increased 7%.
