I can just see one of those on the news squished on 635 on FOX4 news having been ran over by an 18 wheeler.
So that's a No for having smart cars on the autobahn?

They actually do ok on the autobahn here in Germany, usually running 75-90 MPH, of course I am usually running 120-140 in the Stealth when I have enough open road. But trucks over here are smaller and arent allowed anywhere near the axle weight they are in the US. (Probably why they dont get blown off the road) They still stand as high as a regular car just one cut in half so I dont see how a trucker could miss one to the point of pushing it along the hwy unless it was on purpose. However it would be easy to see how they could fit into a blind spot and get sideswiped but motor cycles face the same threat.
