Default 2024 Ram Dakota ?

Stellantis saying it's happening and I will be considering one ( considering what it finally looks like and which platform it's on )
Anyone else ?
My old Dakota looks good and runs well, but may be going up for sale.

I've read the Ram will present a "concept" to dealers in March. It's also rumored to be hybrid or all electric.

I see a few experts are suggesting Pentastar 3.6 V-6 , about 300bhp
and 2.0L turbo / hybrid
hopefully Jeep Gladiator frame ?

Is this the Ram 1200 I keep seeing or will it actually be badged a Dakota?

3.6 would be a nice setup, maybe a Hurricane option, that'd be sweet, especially if they'd bring it back with a manual option (haha yea right)

Maybe a diesel option whenever they introduce what replaces the eco diesel

I hear rumors the 5.0 Cummins might finally find its original home in the Ram pickup chassis

Ahh another classic name being brought back, I give props for the Hornet though, they could come up with an original name once and not rename a classic.

Can you post links to your articles? I haven't seen much about it.

Damn still not much news .
Seems it is going to be called a Dakota.
I contacted a large Ram dealership near me for purchasing a 2024 Ram Dakota yesterday..
.Recieved a call today , "we have a full inventory of Rams , let me know which features you are looking for in the Ram'.
I said I would be interested in any of the new Dakota's.
She said, " wow I didn't know Dodge was bringing those back".
Would you like to see or Ram inventory or wait for the Dakota ?"
Nothing against the full size Rams, but I told her I would put money down when the Dakota is available,
only looking for the new Dakota..

WTF Stellantis ?
Damn , I missed out on a '99 r/t down here near Willington, NC. good deal on a nice truck a couple weeks ago.
I should have jumped on it but only lasted a couple days.
Would like another truck soon so I can work on my old Dak at leisure.
( finally needing waterpump, so timing set at that time also )
I have two friends with Tacoma's and feeling the urge ... to that side...

Chinese will eventually own/control everything.
