Gee....looks like someone got really drunk....said hey lets come up with a new car.....took the Dodge Caliber and the Dodge Nitro and got a baby out of the two. This is pathetic.
Daimler, come up with some new ideas for once. These retread cross-overs are getting repugnant, especially when your stealing the exact ideas from a current car ALREADY in the lineup. Or at the very least, dont try to make a Dodge Mini Cooper....its rather ridiculous...
This is pathetic, and I hope its a Europe ONLY model as well....

Dodge Scion sounds about right.
Seriously though, but what the hell is with dodge and weight lately, are they lining these cars with lead or something, 3100lbs. for that thing, should be more around 2600 tops for it's size, everything they have been producing lately is horibly overweight, it's not bad when they put a very high hp engine in it like the Challenger, but most they are putting these small 150-170ish hp engines in 3000+lbs cars.

What are chances Dodge make an SRT-4 version of this? Signed up to discuss the Caliber SRT-4 but then saw this car this morning and it makes me think twice. Any idea if this car has a chance of being made next year? Thanks. Here's some nice pics I found of the Hornet - http://www.dodge-hornet.com
