Mercedes may build a convertible roadster version of its popular SLR supercar, according to Britain's WhatCar? magazine. The $450,000 car is currently only offered as a coupe, despite the fact that it was shown in concept form in both coupe and convertible forms. The SLR — build as a partnership between Mercedes and McLaren — has a 626bhp V8 engine and can hit 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
