I know this was tongue in cheek, but the real reason the Ram is expensive to insure is because of the Hemi. The cost to insure my Ram with GEICO is within 10 dollars every 6 months of my Town and Country. If the T&C is one of the cheapest, then its safe to assume a regular cab - v-6 5 speed no frills Ram is also one of the cheapest to insure. Not that cost of insurance is going to persuade someone to choose a v-6 over a Hemi, but I'm sure it makes a BIG difference in insurance costs
Its the 20 inch wheels that are the real cause. About 90 percent of the rams that get stolen have them. Engine dosent really matter. I have yet to meet a 3rd gen ram owner that has had their truck stolen that did not have the 20's.
the jeep cheokee is an suv.. and not the most expencive but its still an suv and i agree witht he mini van its the same thing.. yet if you go to a dodge dealer the town and country is less then the caravan.. even though crystler is suppose to be the more expenicive brand...
