Strictly a BS rumor if you ask me...

 

Can't imagine that would be a very wise idea right now with the prices of gas and stuff. Miserable as that is. Could you imagine how fast one of those thing would be? Peeling out in front of the school-house (if you had kids)? That would make driving one of those a pretty fine option for me!

Does DCX have/utilize the cylinder deactivation like GM does? They COULD justify an SRT-8 version if it had that and not tick off TOO many folks....

 

Been doing it for a while now, it's called MDS...

 

Honda's been using it on their minivan v6's too. As far as gas prices go, my charger (hemi w/mds) seems to be getting better gas mileage than my intrepid did.

Never heard about the V8 rumor but I seriously doubt it. It is supposed to have a 4.0L with 24 valves though with a 6-speed(finally). They better improve the performance on it because the Odessey and Sienna are better in those categories and as a result are gaining ground.

About the old man, can you blame him? I think he is more concerned about Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Kia, GM, and Ford seeing this, not so much us. Those companies might adjust their styling or something (espically Nissan and GM).
