As of now the 48RE tranny, is standard and the only tranny available! Thats why they could get the 7,500lbs of tow power out of it, unlike the 900lbs, by the 6-speed manual regular cab!

theres only one srt 10 in the country ( regular cab ) and it only just arrived so i guess we will have to wait a couple of years for a quadcab to get here.

its just not fair.

I think im gonna have to get me a bonnet and a rear spoiler so I can pretend until one gets here.

They're two-thirds of the way toward making me trade in my '04 HEMI QC 4x4. They've got the Viper engine and the quad cab. Now all they need is to throw in a beefed up transfer case (ie. four-wheel drive) and performance addicts like me who live in snow 8/12ths of the year will be happy.

Thats what I am talking about. Then again if they make it 4x4, it might not be considered a true sport truck...Who knows.

 

any one know if it will be available with the sport package?
I love the truck except for the chrome, might be willing to trade
mine in for one if it is.

 

Chrysler Group, has yet to release if there will be a Sport package on the Power Wagon!

DCX just keeps doing it, got the fastest truck, SRT-10; have the baddest 4x4, Wrangler Rubicon; going to have the baddest 4x4 truck, Power Wagon; and still plenty to mention.
