Caliber SRT-4 spotted in the wild!
SliverXZennon (Stratusphere.net)
So my roomie and I were driving around town tonight, and I happen to see a Caliber, both of us, being Mopar fans start looking.. then OMFG, its an SRT! I turn around and follow him into the K-Mart parking lot to see what he's doing. We wait and get out when he gets out, he goes into K-Mart and we get some pictures. This thing is badass in person. It also sounds AMAZING! Nice rumble to it, not ricey at all! I am not really sure why the rims are different, but its definately a test car.
I figured everyone might get a kick out of this, since this is the only thing worth talking about in our town... lol
If you look, you can see the computer wires coming in under the door sill of the passenger side. There was a computer in there, though we couldn't get any good angles with the camera phone... kinda dissapointing.
Column mounted 6-speed though, w/ boost gauge. biggrin.gif
I really didn't know what to think about the Caliber, until now.. smile.gif

Where was this shot? I'm jsut curious from the standpoint that if Dodge were concerned about keeping its future cars secret...why would someone drive one to K-Mart? I'm sure the pics are legit. But the darn things are also just about coming off the production line...if they aren't already. Maybe a magazine tester?

Lol sounds like someone is using the car as a grocery-getter ... kind of like a grandpa driving a Viper going 30mph in a 55 mph zone...
Anyway I'm concerned just like the guy above me is also about "why isn't dodge worried about concealing it?" Well actually now that i wrote it, they aren't concealing it, plans and pics of the srt-4 edition were released as soon as info about the caliber was officially released to the public so, what do they have to hide? hmm?
Normally I would say, nice catch, Chase! but obviously it wasn't you this time who did the spotting... so [sm=itsok.gif], we will forgive you this time for losing your title as being the first person to dig up everything about everything...
