Probably my favorite Chrysler concept, this was the pattern the current 300C (which was to debut as the 300N) was fallowing before 2000. Everyone loved this car, was awarded "Best Car at Show" by the public at NAIAS. Its a shame to see that it didn't make production. In my opinion this car is so much more appealing and attractive than the new 300C.

It was a nice evolution of the '90s Chrysler look. But management decided they didn't want evolutionary -- they wanted a SHARP break with the Gale/Castaing years, and rightly so, I think. Too many people associate that cab-forward look with cheap plastic interiors, stupid levels of NVH, and iffy reliability. Hopefully, in a few more years, we'll be able to say that those are all part of Chrysler history, rather than Chrysler present.
