Too bad there isn't a lot of the original Ram left in the one that set the record. By the sounds of it, just the body panels, a HEAVILY modded motor, and some suspsension components. They're using a 9" Ford axle [>:]
I'd like to go to Bonneville sometime for speedweeks. They have some wicked fast vehicles running there.

Banks Turbo Set the world speed record for the pickup truck that is powered by a cummins diesel. Most of the truck is still in stock form. This truck is street drivable as well and it even pulled its own shop trailer to the salt flats! They even did a small video where they blew a way a vette on the streets.
