RE: China/DCX Deal
i agree w/ that comment but the economy is pretty much global ...I cannot say that I enjoy the import phases going on but Subaru and Toyota and other brands are doing the same thing...bringing or have already brought their lines to the states. I know some Toyotasare being made in my city now at the Subaru plant

BULL****!
We make a pretty good profit on the caliber. Its all about greed on this one. High labor costs are just the excuse. Shame on you chrysler. Sell a piece of crap, and see how many repeat customers you get.

I do indeed work for chrysler. I have worked at four different plants. Mack engine I, trenton engine, warren truck assy, and now I'm at sterling heights assy. Yes I make a decent wage, but I'm not living high off the hog by any means. Labor is the least expensive part of the vehicle. On average labor is 10 percent of the sticker. And time off, I've been with the company 7 years I get two weeks of vacation, and the company tells me when I can take it. Great isn't it?
