RE: Dodge Charger SPIED
Oh No I didn't Make that ...
(I wish I was that Talented and Smart to Design something like that...)
You can find this pic (and more) at the Popular Hottrodding web site,(in like March or April Issue ?) they did an article about Charger on the LX platform....thats what they would like it to be....I liked it...
Some thing gives me the hunch that the real charger might look very much like that pic

RE: Dodge Charger SPIED
I sincerely hope the silver one's a joke. The 300 is a cool SEDAN but to rebadge one as a "Charger" would do an injustice to the name on the same order of magnitude as rebadging the O24 back in the '80's.
The purple one's more like it but it's still a fodor.
The green one looks to be between the foul poles, though I haven't seen enough to say whether it makes it past the infield. It seems to have the look of a hardtop, which is good. It also seems to have a bit of the tunnelback rear window like the '68-'70, which is asthetically pleasing though possibly aerodynamically suspect (remember the fix done to the '69 500 and Daytona). I can't see the front end so I can't comment further.
What I would look for in a "Charger" in the area of styling:
>It should be a "23": a two door hard top.
>It should strongly evoke memories of the classic Chargers: the '68 or the '71, though the '71's lines would be harder to adapt to the 300's straight lines.
>Front and rear styling are crucial; the face should definitely announce the arrival of a Charger and the butt should announce the departure of a Charger.
>The car needs to be STRONGLY connected to what's being run on the NASCAR tracks.
Oh, and I want the HEMI with a good handling/stopping package for about $20k
