Does anyone know if they are going to offer the stage upgrades like the neon srt4? If so how much each stage. i was talking to the guy at the dealership he said 2800 for stage 2 & that would put you @ 310hp and 290 torque. Does anyone know numbers? thnx

 

Does anyone know how much boost the csrt is pushing stock? Ya just trying to find some info. the guy @ the dealership said that there will be stage upgrades but not untill july. and there's only going to be 2. b.c. technically the csrt is already @ stage 2. cuz the neon srt came with 230 stage 2 puts you at 280, and thats where the csrt is at. I guess the upgrades are the same as the neon.

 

they boost 8psi stock I believe..or maybe it was 10...I forgot. I know its not where the Neon SRT4 was stock boost wise.

 

It actually has a boost limiter depending on the gear that you have it in. These are my readings, I do not know what the exact settings are from the manufacturer. I am boosting at 4-5 psi in 1st, 7-8 in 2nd, 10-11 in 3rd. and 14-15 in 4,5,6th gear. Rumor is they did that to cut back on the wicked torque steer it has in the first 2 gears. I think they should of gone with some traction bars instead to eliminate that and gave us the full psi power throughout. Just my 2 cents

 

You are boosting higher than most CSRT-4 owners. Everything I have read indicates 11psi being the most.

If I was dodge I would just have dialed the boost down just in first but give the driver full boost in 2nd gear.

 

Yeah but he could be at a higher altitude so it might be boosting more to get the required torque rating. I think thats how it works with higher altitude (less dense air = more boost needed). I own a csrt-4 and im boosting 11-12psi max and im roughly at sea level in east Va.
