GTG - January 17th 2010
I'll leave it as tentative for now...but how about we plan a meet for 2010, say Sunday, January 17th, pending how many people want to make it out.
Let's talk location..... There isn't too much going on where I live in the Winter, except for some really beautiful scenery over Lake Erie...provided it's frozen up a bit. We could do Hamilton again too, that was good and there was lots of parking, and lots of places to eat and good scenery too. Maybe down by the lift bridge/skyway bridge this time, and hit up somewhere in Burlington to eat? Or we could do it on the escarpment and have some cool photos over looking Hamilton. I'm open to any and all ideas so bring em on.

Here is the plan,
Sunday January, 17th
Meeting up in Burlington along beach blvd just after the lift bridge in one of the few parking lots that are there. (There are a few parking lots so if one is full keep driving until you see a bunch of trucks) 2pm-5pm. Then we will all take a drive to Mandarin at Upper James st in Hamilton, Ontario for 6pm.
If you are coming to the Mandarin. It will be $25 for the buffet plus whatever drinks you order. Children under 12 are $12.It's booked for 6pm on Sunday the 17th on Upper James st in Hamilton, Ontario.
And this is the route from our meeting place to the Mandarin (minus stopping for photo op's): http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=15...,0.386238&z=12
DIRECTIONS TO THE GTG 2pm-5pm

Not sure of the parking lot address # or if it even has one...but the closest intersection is Beach Blvd and Eastport Dr
This: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...=UTF8&t=h&z=17 is the exact parking lot we will meet at.
Here's the exit for the people coming from the Niagara Falls direction:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...=UTF8&t=h&z=16
You'd be looking for the "Eastport Dr" #93 exit. Then the parking lot is between the Canal and the QEW once you pass underneath it. Does that make sense?
For those coming from Toronto you'd also want to look for the "Eastport Dr" #97 exit and follow that over the liftbridge/canal and the parking lot is on the left hand side. Their offramp is here:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...18175&t=h&z=16
There are multiple ways to get there but those are probably the easiest for those that aren't familiar with the area.
