Cheap, in Canada.... that is hard to find. Btw, grew up in hamilton, now living in oshawa, workin fer OPG nuclear

 

I'm from, and in, Hamilton. If you are in Hamilton too(I assume because of your post that said H town), then the cheap shop around here is the rent-a-bay downtown at Cannon & Mary. Shops are bad news, I basically only use actual shops when there's too many possible problems found in my own diagnosis. Then I go to a shop to narrow it down, then I go back to the rent a bay lol. You'll also want to hang out on neon specific forums and constantly troll the tech sections soaking up knowledge. Get a haynes book too, well worth the money.


BTW, if you need parts, www.car-part.com will be one of your best friends. It lets you search the inventories of almost every wrecking yard in North America, you tell it what you want and a general area(state, province etc) and it gives you a list of what's out there that you can sort by price, distance, etc. and info on where it's at. Then you call the yard to confirm they have it, and go pick it up, or get it delivered.

I also use that site to impress my friends , they ask me iff I can find a part for them, I call them back 2 minutes later and tell em what's up, they all think I got the hook up lol. I actually do got the hook up on GM parts(friend is a parts manager), but now that I've got the Ram, I need a friend at a mopar dealer lol.
