Exclamation 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II

This is a beautiful Viper Red "B" body Mopar with less than 1000 miles on the clock since a complete restoration. Great attention was paid to every detail during the restoration of this car. The body is absolutely straight. All trim was replated, polished and/or repainted. There is no rust anywhere. This car was sold and originally registered in Southern California. The car was completely disassembled and inspected for rust and old damage. Only very minor issues were found and repaired before the beautiful two stage Viper Red paint was applied.
The suspension is all new. Hotchkis hemi torsion bars were installed along with new ball joints and polyurethane bushings. Adjustable shocks were installed both front and rear. It is equipped with the optional front sway bar. The rear springs are the monoleaf style from Calvert Racing and Cal Tracs bars were installed also. The rear end is an 8 3/4 unit fitted with a sure grip and 4.10 gears. A spare center section comes with the car that is equipped with 3.91 gears. The driveshaft is a new oversized piece with the larger u-joints. The brake linings are a special high performance material from Muscle Car Brakes. They have brought this car to a safe and quick stop from 130 MPH. The car is also equippped with a line-lock.
The transmission is a 727 with all of the nice race caliber parts and pieces including a 3500 stall torque converter. Shifting is accomplished with a B&M "Hammer" shifter. The line lock switch is located on the shifter console.
The 440 cu.in. engine dyno'd at 524 HP and 569 lb/ft of torque on PUMP GAS. It comes with Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and a Holley race version double pump carb prepared by The Carb Shop. It has an aluminum radiator, two oil coolers (one for the trans and one for the engine oil), MSD ignition, Hedman headers and 3" exhaust flowing through a crossover pipe and Flowmasters to chrome tips at the rear reminiscent of the R/T; Road Runner; GTX models.
The car has all new Painless Wiring and all lighting except the headlights is LED. The battery has been relocated to the trunk to clean up the engine compartment. The car is equipped with a 20 gallon foam-filled fuel cell plumbed with braided steel fuel line to the engine.
The tunes come through an awesome Pioneer system with six speakers and a powerful amp. As you can see in the photos, the interior is black and tweed. The vinyl is very high quality and looks and feels like leather. The dash is a custom fabricated piece with Auto Meter "Phantom" gauges and an adjustable shift light. The inside of the car was lined with Second Skin accoustic material which keeps the interior surprisingly quiet.
This car runs and drives great and is very fast but very streetable. It is one of the nicest Mopars out there. You won't be disappointed.
