Places to go off roading?
This is a good place to let any locals no where you go off roading. Mention in your post:
The location
What it is... a park, rocks, trials, mud
What kinda rigs normally are there..

COLORADO...
St. Mary's/Alice area is fun. Rocky and dusty when above timberline. Some challenging riverbeds, but it's mostly open, so even trucks with not many mods can hang. I used to take my stock 2000 Toyota 4-Runner up there all the time and test myself (that thing did very well). Great off-roading, not to mention...BEAUTIFUL! Even if you're an older dude and want soemthing fun to do with your wife...take her up there for some off-roading or park at the St. Mary's Glacier parking lot to take a quick hike. A ten minute hike up from the parking lot is the lake at the base of the glacier...breathe-taking.
Take I-70west of Idaho Springs, take the St. Mary/Alice exit, and head uphill! Explore on your own!
