Just bought a new Dodge -- the dealership is pushing a polymer/resin treatment called VS-2000 which is "a new, state-of-art moisture resistant rust inhibitor which forms a deep chemical bond with metal". Supposedly it keeps finish "factory new" and prevents rust, loss of gloss & cracking. t also eliminates the need to wax the car. It comes with a 5 year paint protection warrant & a "continuous" surface rust warranty. Anyone familiar with this? Is it a bunch of hoo-ey or is it a good thing?
