Default Header Replacement For A 70 Challenger

Hello All, What Would Be The Best Header Replacement For A 1970 Challenger 440 A/T, P/S. I Got The Car From My Uncle And The Old Headers Are All Rusted Out. I Am Looking For What Would Be The Best Fit So The Wire Boots Dont Rub Against The Pipe Like It Does Now, Also Getting To The Plugs. I Dont Want To Spend A Bunch Of Money Because I Am On A Budget From The Boss, SoAny Help Would Be Appreciated. Thanks Mike

Default RE: Header Replacement For A 70 Challenger

Well, to me the best fit, construction and durability are TTI headers. However, they are also pretty pricey. However, the design care taken pays great dividends when installing, especially on a tight fit which you'll experience w/ the 440.

Another suggestion. When you do this, go w/ "mini" starter as well regardless of your header selection and save your knuckles and an hour or so in installation time.

Good luck
