Does anyone know where to find the old Cragar center caps with the tabs? Are they still in production? They were in the trunk of the '73 Barracuda we just boughtand are in bad shape, and we can't find them anywhere. They're about 3-3 1/4 in., bevel outtoward the bottom, chromed plastic, with 'Cragar' twice around the top. The words are raised around a circle with blue underneath. Not sure if the blue matched the original color of the car, which was Basin Street, or if they just came that way. It's a pretty good match but the paint on the cap seems to be metallic. However, since the color of the car was reversed and the stripes, etc.are now blue instead of black, we'd hoped to find exact duplicates. Any help would be appreciated!

 

TryGoogling for restoration auto parts or used car parts. Get specific and you'll be amazed at what'll turn up. And to state the obvious, have you tried eBay?

 

Nothing on eBay that matches. Been searching for new auctions every night hoping someone would have them. Even the local tire store that sells every wheel you can imagine doesn't have a clue. The guy told me, "Good luck." I didn't type in restoration, but I've tried every 'Cragar' I could come up with. Guess I'll keep searching!
