In 1980 a friend and i while looking for 70 charger parts were shown a 70 hemi 4spd lime green convertable challenger the one from Nova Scotia that ended up in NJ then as for as i know now is in england . It was then quoted that it could have been buoght for $10000 well 10 grand for a 10 year old conv. was a lot then even my friends dad didn't want to fool with a hemi ! Oh the power of hindsite Anyone know of the car?

So would i today but in 1980 there was not much info around about how many etc . and who wanted a car that was a bitch to try and keep running at least by reputotion Yes today i do the *** kicking thing . But it makes a good story There was on the same parts hunting trip a 440+6 challenger that needed a lot of work in80 for $5500 but the guy who told me where it was won't talk about it now so it must be around still so when you are out looking for stuff. WRIGHT IT DOWN! becouse we are not getting younger and who knows that magnum or whatever might be rare in 10 years

 

I know my SRT-4 will be, it already is with it being built for only 3 years in very low numbers.
