i have a 70 challenger and in the front fenderwells toward the doors you can see the door hiinges from inside the fenderwell. it looks to me that there is a gaurd that can be purchased to bolt in there. what brand and where can i order these little plastic or rubber shields? thanks for the info.

and there are companies in magazines like MCG and mopar muscle that advertise odd parts like this.

 

I'm not 100% certain, but I do believe that is the way it's supose to be.
