Default instrument panel

Okay.....I'm new to the muscle car craze......I bought a '73 Challenger last year and am having a blast with it. Doing odds and ends with it over each winter. The instrument panel no longer works and I would like to pull it and send it off to be refurbished. I attempted to pull it last year but stopped after it looked like I needed to pull the entire dash off.

Any tips on how to pull the full instrument panel??? I have the Rally Dash.

Default RE: instrument panel

Work it from bottom to top.
Remove duct.
Lower steering column
Dsconnect the A/C control & maybe radio. (It's been a year or two, so my memory may be a little off.)
Remove lower trim pieces.
Remove light's from above gauges.
Remove guage bezel, then lens, then gauges.
Should take less than an hour. Cover your steering column with a cloth so that you don't scratch it with the light bar.
