ANTI FREEZE IN OIL? LOTS!
340 4V 70 CHALLENGER AUTO. START CAR UP AND A QUART OF ANTI FREEZE IN OIL IN 1 MINUTE. HEAD GASKETS ARE GOOD. I WAS TOLD IF IT WAS A CRACK IN THE BLOCK IT WOULDN'T FILL UP THAT FAST? SUSPECT THE FRONT WATER PUMP, HARMINIC BALANCER GASKET?? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS
I think Crazy Horse nailed it. The aluminum timing chain cover/ water pump back plate is corroded thru. You didn't by any chance snap off any of the housing bolts? I forget exactly which bolt it is that ends up in the water jacket but when your local Mopar dealer's trained gorrillas change out the water pump they neglect to put anti sieze or thread sealer on the end of the bolt. Next time you service the front of the motor SNAP!!!
