Default 1970 wiring BLOWS

Got the bird out 4 a ride.Noticed the brake lights wasnt working.Tested and probed a couple hours and found the turn signal switch was bad.Installed another one,Bingo brake lights work.But now when I turn on parking lights gas gauge pegs to full.WTF! I think its a ground but who the f#@% knows.Works fine till you turn on lights.Any answers?[:@]

I feel your pain, my '71 has tail light issues where it shows a discharge when the lights are one and worse when I hit the brakes, so I still need to fix it.

Figured out the gas gauge.Tighten the nuts on the circut board behind the instrument cluster.FIXED![sm=icon_rock.gif][sm=icon_rock.gif]
