I have a 1972 chargerand Ive been wondering how to get the peice of chrome trim above the driver and passenger windows and windsheild pillars off the car for paint and such.
Ive come to the conclusion thats theres some kind of adhesive holding them on, and my question is do i just carefully force them off a little at a timeand them use different adhesive later on when there goin back on?
Or is there something i dont know?

 

Are you refering to the driprail moulding? That should pop off fairly easily. I use an old style bottle opener coated in some of that liquid rubber tool grip stuff. It helps keep the scratches down to a minimum.
