68 WEDGE. I can look at the procedure in the manual, and maybe speak with someone I know who has some experiance with them. Have you bypassed the core yet?

I replaced my heater core about 2 years ago. Although not the funniest job it nots too bad. As was said above a manual would help a little bit but sometimes they have you remove too much. I'm not sure of your exact underdash configuration but its probably similiar to mine. I had to remove the glove box liner(mandatory) in my car, remove three or so bolts on engineside firewall, ducting, electrical connections, forward heater box bracket on inside of car. I also removed my seats, console for ease of getting to the hard parts. I bet there are only 4-6 bolts that hold it on the car and to my recollection there was only 4 but that might be off by one or two. Then all I did was pull in down and out. It was a bit tight but it came out and just replaced in reverse order. Non-ac cars aren't real bad. My heater core ruined 1 year old carpet so I wasn't real happen but it had to be changed. Also I called around to the local parts stores. They had my core in stock. One was correct/w the correct size heater core inlet&outlet. One store had a heater core but both inlet&outlet were the same size. That makes for fitting correct hose almost impossible since my car calls for 1/2" and 5/8" and the inlet/outlet was 5/8" . Hope this helps abit.....

Chris

68WEDGE. I spoke with my friend and he said what fc&gtx said, that it's not a bad job. The repair manual for the 69 Coronet has only like 8 steps for removal, but no pictures. They say after removing the 3 nuts on the box studs that go into the engine bay, that you can rotate the box and slide it out. I was thinking, "Yeah right." Sorry i couldn't get anything more helpful.
