What's a '71 Charger worth?
I know of a '71 Charger R/T that needs a quite a bit of work. I don't know whether it runs or not. The vin is WS23U1C107771 which I found says it's a "special" price class whatever that means and that it has the HP 440 magnum engine. It also has a manual, though I don't know how many speeds or anything really about it. Also, what color is this?
Here is one of my cars, '68 Buick Special Deluxe with 38,000 original miles.

if its a manual, it is a 4 speed, unless they have an aftermarket transmission in it. i would search around and hunt out some prices for other 71s and see how the price is compared to the condition.
WS23U1 is the VIN designation for a '71 Charger R/T equipped with a 440 HP. Looks like it's in some serious need of body work; the '71's have very little repro sheet metal being made right now, so it's going to be a pricey body restoration. Paint is pretty badly faded; hard to say what it was originally- my guess would be citron yella; get the fender tag codes if you can- that would tell a lot more about the car. Even with the body in the shape it's in, if it's a number matching car that's complete, it's probably worth $5-6K.
Depends how much work you want to do.The values of these cars keep going up,even the not so desirable years are becoming real collectable. That color i'm pretty sure is curious yellow,if that is the original color thats another thing that mkes it rare.I would persue it.
Well I looked at that '72. Turns out it's really a Satellite Sebring with a 318. He told me that when I had called him, guess he knew he would get more calls by calling it a different model.

I checked on the Charger.....I talked to the guy's wife and he obviously knows he has something special. She said they also have a '69, and '70 Charger. They are rebuilding the '70 now and will start on the '71 after that. She says they always get people asking to buy the car from them. Unfortunatly they wont sell it. Here are a couple of pics of that Sebring.

I'm not surprised that they know exactly what they have..... especially since they already have others. Too bad- that would be a sweet ride when restored. I take back what I said about that Sebring as well.... 2K may have been a little generous!
