Default Rear End help

What year and model of car should I look out for that is a posi? One that is a perfect swap.I own a towing company and come across abandoned Dodges and Chryslers every once in a while in my tow yard.I want to change my 69 Chargers rear end and make it a posi. Also do the numbers on the side of MY pumpkin have to match the other rear end? My reads #2070741 aapw

Thanks,
Archie

Lots of good reading here in this link. You can just get your center section rebuilt with a posi.

The 741/742/489 centersections are all interchangable in the same housing. You could just purchase a suregrip unit and install it in your 741 housing...assuming that you were happy with the present gearing.
