Default 1969 Charger

Hi, I am new here. My dad who passed away on 8/4/22 purchased a brand new from a Fort Worth Texas dealer 1969 Dodge Daytona Charger. It was a dark metallic green, Hemi, automatic transmission. The big question I am asking is if there is a database for the 69 Daytona chargers? Because his did not have the wing or nose installed, and no it was not the charger 500. The rear truck stripes had Daytona on the sides. I tend to believe my dad, as he was a master ASE certified mechanic for 30 years. Any idea or book recommendations or anything to help find his name Luke Blaine Swindell Jr. would be his signature. I might have a picture of the car. But he only had the car for ten months or so. He traded it in for a 1970 plum crazy charger R/T 440 Auto.

Thanks.
Jon Swindell

I can't see a dealer selling a new car without the nose on it. All the lights are in the nose. You can tell if it's a real Daytona by the chrome trim on the A pillar and the rear glass follow the roof line unlike the standard Chargers. If you have the vin # you can tell also. This forum is for The G platform cars you have a B body. Just a FYI.

Moved to the correct forum. So, you are trying to find a vehicle that he only had for 10 months over 30 years ago? Or you have the vehicle and are trying to find information on it? Sorta confused
