Default Hello, new here...

I just bought a '68 Charger R/T that I'm going to resto/mod.

I'll probably have many questions cuz I'm not a car expert and this will be my first resto (but not my last!).

First off, how would I go about modding the suspension to an IFS? Do they sell kits or something anywhere? How much money and trouble am I looking at trying to convert it to IFS? I've read about the Mustang 2 IFS, is it possible to fit that in a '68 charger?

As I said before, this will be my first resto and I'm not going all original cuz it's in memory of my nephew (we always wanted to resto/mod an old musclecar). I'll be doing a lot of modding cuz that's the way he would of wanted it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can/should mod?

Here's a few I already plan on doing:

- Shaved Doors

- Power windows

- Power doors (obviously)

- A/C (I don't think the one I got has A/C. It won't be delivered for another week so I haven't been able to dig into it yet. By the way DAS - Dependable Auto Shippers - sucks)

- "Powered" rear view mirror. I like knowing the temperature when I'm out driving. It's almost always 100+ here in the summer.

- No chrome trimming! Or at least as little as possible. The only thing I want chrome are the bumpers and the wheels.

- No emblems anywhere except maybe the grille.

Some of those aren't really "mods". More like upgrades.

Any other ideas?

Thank you
