Default Rain Resistant or Not ?

I know this question is probaly stupid. I own a 68 Coronet 440, this is my first classic mopar. I have heard that the older cars have rust problems especially when rain got into the door panels and by the rear window above the trunk lid. I have been told by other vintage mopar enthusiasts that this is a common problem wih these cars. I live in Florida and hurricane season is approaching which means lots of rain. I don't want to get caught driving my car in the rain if it is going to cause rust problems. Can anybody tell me if this is true. Thanks for any help.

Have you found any rust yet? Yes, they do rust around the back windows(68-70 B-Bodies) alot but if it's sealed up good you shouldn't have any problems. Even if you keep it garaged you wil get some rust. The only dumb question is the one you didn't ask, I speak from experience
