Default Front grille assembly

I was wondering if it would be possible to convert a 73 Charger SE to hideaway lights? and if so the amount of work involved in doing so, it isnt necessary for me to do this but if I am able to do it without heavy mods, I would enjoy the hideaways compared to the stock grille.

Just find yourself a '72 SE and rape it for all the grille/bumper parts. It should be a bolt in deal.

Hi,

I have seen this conversion on quite a few '73/'74 Chargers. I happen to prefer the original '73 / '74 grill but, that is a matter of personal preference. It should be a bolt in deal. The only thing that you will have to do is wire it up to open and close the light doors. If your grills are in good shape, I would either keep them in case you change your mind about the hide-aways or sell them on E-Bay or even a swap meet. Either way, should not be too hard of a swap.
