Default Can anyone identify the color on my car?

just wondering what chrysler called this color on my car. or if its even a color that they offered. obviously its a 71 chager 500. also, most 71 chargers with vinyl tops i have seen stop at the top of the rear window yet mine goes all the way down to the bottom of the window. wondering if that was also just an option

If your fender tag is still with the car, you can find the paint code on it (circled in the example).

Your car is repainted, the GF3 is the paint code and it is medium green metallic. The V1X is the full vinyl top in black. The E44 code is the 318 2bbl. I know the what the codes I can read are, but if you want the entire tag decoded you will need to list all the codes here, because I cannot read them all.

These are the others I can read, or that I think I can, from your fender tag:

XP23 :
X = Dodge Charger
P = Premium
23 = 2 Door Hardtop
G1E :
G = 318 230HP 1-2BBL 8 CYL
1 = 1971
E = Los Angeles, CA, USA
149542 :
Sequence Number '149542'
GF3 :
Paint Code: Medium Green Metallic
211029 :
Order Number: 211029
V1X :
Roof Type OR Color: Full Vinyl Top - Black
A04 :
Basic (Radio) Group
B51 :
Power Assisted Brakes
C21 :
Center Seat Foldown Armrest
C55 :
Bucket Seats
H51 :
Single Air /w Heater
J55 :
Undercoat w/ Hood Pad
N21 :
Air Pump
H25 :
Heater Delete
R11 :
Music Master Radio AM
V78 :
Accent Stripes - Delete
Y16 :
Sales Bank Car

Please correct me if any are incorrect.

my pictures may be misleading. the metallic green seems right to me. u pretty much nailed everything on that and it seems that the full vinyl top was an option and im greatful that mine had it.

edit: look at the bottom of the pic and you can see the color of my car from the fender tag, thats a better lighting of it

Yes, that and the E in the VIN# being Los Angeles, CA tells it all. I always loved The Price Is Right when they have cars on there and mention California emissions, that's the same as saying neutered and underpowered, or at least it use to since all cars today are built to CARB standards. I wish they would go back to making California cars the only ones that have to be held to CARB standards, imagine how much more powerful the SRT line would be without having to conform to their standards.

For those that may not know CARB is short for California Air Resources Board.
