rare 69 superbee question
how rare is a 69 superbee with white exterior with red stripe and red interior? the car came with hemi suspension and brakes but has a 383. it is also an automatic 4 spd on the column. i have talked to many superbee owners and they said they have never seen or heard of a supebee with this color combination. does anyone know anything about this car?

RE: rare 69 superbee question
Have you decoded the fender tag to make sure that it is still in it's original colors? The fender tag will tell you everything about the car, every single option is coded on there. Here is a good site to start your search for the rarity of your car: http://www.allpar.com

RE: rare 69 superbee question
As Mitch said, you would need to decode the fender tag to determine if it's all genuine. The color scheme was available, and probably somewhat unusual, but I don't have any production numbers by option combos, and quite frankly, that will be hard to determine. Is it a 4 speed or a column auto? It has to be one or the other, can't be both. Relatively speaking, the 383 '69 Bees were the highest production numbers of all Super Bees, so that alone doesn't make it very rare.

RE: rare 69 superbee question
from what i understand, the white w/ red stripe was a rare deal, but i would decode the VIN or fender tag before you assume anything based on the paint alone... my road runner was originally green, now it is gold. how many gold road runners have you seen? (it was an option by-the-way)

69 super bee white with red stripes and interior
Actually, I know this thread is old, but I live in Montana, and I have actually painted an original 38,000 miles Super Bee which was white with the red bee stripe, and the red interior. The guy bought it brand new in 69. it is currently sitting in his garage. It is a 383 and auto on the column car. I drove the car to my body shop and it was a pretty fast car, which would rev to the moon! I know because i jumped on it. I thought the *** end was going to come around and meet the front end. The engine was all original and never rebuilt. I know him fairly well.
