Has anyone seen an '08 Magnum SRT 8 yet???
I live in the Los Angeles metro area and I am amazed how little information these dealers have about when the '08 Magnum SRT 8's are going to arrive. I sold Cadillacs in the Seattle area for a while and we know our allocation (by VIN number) at least 3 months ahead of build? So, is there some wierd delay with the SRT 8 line? I've seen a couple of '08 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8's on eBay...but nothing else? Any one have any ideas when these will be in the showroom...and/or why they are delayed?[>:]
We have 2 08 mags on our lot. No SRT's yet. We do have a 08 charger super bee on order. Should be here in a month or so. Once here, I will post a few shots of it. Also heard me also may order a SRT4 Caliber too!! From the photos we have at our dealership, it really looks to be a kickass ride.
One nnote on the SRT8 Mags, they will be stocked with a working scoop on the hood. I will be looking to get one for my 06.

Well thankuhal...since you seem to be well informed, can you address what's taking so long to get these into stores? Is this typical of Chrysler as opposed to GM? Is there a reason why the dealer wouldn't know when a particular unit is scheduled to his the lot (+/- a week or two)??? No matter I guess since they'll get there when they get there, right?
I would say, if you dropped a 5k check and tell them and say"I want a SRT ASAP". I am sure they will get one real fast then. lol Call our dealership in Winston Salem, NC. 336-723-0504 and ask for the general manager Ronnie. We have sold a combined total of 4 SRT's. Not 08's yet. Oh, better get on the ball too, they are not making the magnum's anymore. This is the last season from them.

[8D]Well I managed to order one yesterday from a friend of mine who is the GM of a Dodge dealer in the Seattle area. He's got three on order in his allocation so one of them will be configured the way I want...which is to say "everything but the roof-rack" and make it Black!
Great choice on the racks. They really take away from the srt model. Oh, congrats too on your order. Being the last year for the magnums, I will go out on the limb here, but I bet the value will surely increase on all of the SRT mags.

Dodge/Chrysler seems to be pretty bad about informing their dealerships & the general public about ordering vehicles. Up until just a couple of days ago you couldn't "build your own" 2008 Jeep SRT-8 through jeep.com, even though they were already delivered to dealership lots.
Dodge has always been pretty bad about promoting vehicles ahead of time, but being slow to deliver... ie: the 2008 Caliber SRT-4.
