Can the ECU memory be completely cleared?
If I were to remove a Jet performance chip and then reset the ECU memory by pulling the #11 (assuming that's the right one) fuse, would this erase ALL record of the chip having been installed?
I just bought a car with a chip already installed, but I'm told it voids the engine/trans warranty. I'm looking for a way to avoid this problem.
Anyone a mechanic that knows for sure? Know a mechanic?

Try this.
Some idiot put 87 octane in my car at the dealer and it ran BAD...after I emptied the tank and gave her some good stuff, I did this reset and she runs like a bat out of hell now.
Process to reset the adaptive driving computer.
The fuses under the hood...
make sure the ignition is in the "off" position
Pull fuses # 11, 14 & 16 (under the hood)
Get in car turn to "on"
then turn to "start" (it won't)
Hold for 5-10 seconds until you hear a chime.
Then back to "on".
Hold on "start" again for another 5-10 seconds until you hear a second chime.
turn the ignition to "off"
Replace fuses
Your done
