Hey All, New Owner of 1BDSRT8 in Inferno Red, Options groups I, II,& III, Loaded to the Max. The Beast is unleashed!!!
I've only put 150 miles on my car and i started to hear a whining sound from the engine compartment. at first i thought that maybe the belt was to tight or one of the pulleys were bad. After taking it into the shop the whinning sound was coming from the Trans. The whine only occured after the tranny was hot. The shop replaced the torque converter. But it didnt fix the problem. So today they ripped out the trans and they are telling me that the pump is bad. Has any one experianced the same noises? Or have any suggestions on what else i should look for?
Very Frustrated on whole situation. Lots of $$$ spent and no enjoyment.

 

why didn't you take it to the dealer for warranty instead of pissing away money.

Well then you must be talking about money spent to buy the car.

 

Yes i was when u spend this kind of money on a car u expect it not to have these kind of problems just after purchase and to spend your time in the shop instead of the road.
