Have not seen anything about this over here but it's big everywhere else! Anyway. speckler was fired for giving us information about our builds and I am heading up a group of LX owners in his defense. If you look aroung on some of the other LX related forums you will find the threads there and this is what I just posted on the others.

Just wanted to let you all know that I, and the others in my "speckler support group", have fired off our first volley of e-mails to some union people in Canada and I got a real positive and supportive response already! I cannot post these names and e-mail addresses, that I have been able to acquire from others up there that support Ralph, on these forums. But if you will please just e-mail me @ kking3@socal.rr.com, I will give you what I have to release, so far, and then you will get any updates as we progress.

I also want to let everyone that has posted here in support of speckler, that I have copied them all to a word document that has been incorproated as a part of my personal e-mail campaign.

Your voices have been, and will be heard! But what we really need are more individual voices, to be more effective.

So if you really want to help me help Ralph. I need you to e-mail me and join the group!

No replies huh? Well I guess that says a lot about things I will not say a lot about.

Regardless! Here is just a post I made on some toher forums.

I just wanted to update everyone on what's going on. Our "speckler support group" sent out e-mail messages to several union officials in the last 24 hours in speckler's support. This afternoon I received, and replied to, three of them and they all stated that they were 100% behind speckler on this issue and that our e-mails were very helpful and that they would be used in his defense!

As I posted here in the last day or so. I copied many of your supportive posts and included them with my letters of support of Ralph. So your voices are being heard! But they need to hear from a lot more voices. Not just mine, and a few others, and copies of your posts. They need to hear from you guys!

This will be the last time I post this, as I am stepping back and letting someone else lead this charge. If you want to join in the cause. You need to e-mail me and you'll get the addresses of where to send your personal opinions. My e-mail address is kking3@socal.rr.com. I will forward your info on to the person taking the lead from here on in.

We need your help! Ralph needs your help in particular!

Actually I am sorry. Was a little grumpy and stressed out on this thing last night!

spckler ran the Brampton web site where I, and many other, were able to join to keep track of our cars builds and communicated with some of the Brampton line workers. It was a neat deal. Ralpg (speckler) ended up losing his job over it and I was trying to get people that knew speckler or had used the service to join in ina letter writing (e-mail) campaign.

what caused this person to lose his job?

 

He was tracking our car builds for those that were site supporters ($25.00 for unlimited access to all forums) and they fired him for that.
