Charger SRT-8 That thing got a Hemi? Indeed, a 6.1L Hemi that is. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 pounds the pavement with severe power.

Default K&N Aircharger

Does anybody know the ACTUAL horsepower gain numbers for the K&N Aircharger intake?

The K&N website lists an increase of 20 horsepower...I'm guessing that's the number for the 5.7 not the 6.1 (though 20 horsepower would be great if it were true).

Yes, that is the number for the 5.7 but (and I am just speculating) if the horse power gain is a percentage, then it would stand to reason that the gain for the 6.1 would be greater. I have the 6.1 and have purchased the K&N filter but have not installed yet.

I have read ..somewhere......don't remember where that the gains is somewhere between 6 to 8 hp, doesn't sound as good as the 20 though does it
