I got my srt8 charger about a week ago, and after some timing i got 0-60 in 4.6 but according to the motor trend site, they say its 5.0. Did i do something different? or do they test other aspects in the timing, or is their site just wrong?

 

Whoa! That is the best 0-60 time I've seen for our cars yet! What exactly did you mean by timing?

I've heard that many of the automags out there use some sort of weird averaging system that takes into account a host of variables that are often not applicable during the days they tested the cars. As well, it is also quite likely that Motor Trend simply used Dodge's own conservative estimates when printing their article.

Either way, good job on the 0-60!

 

What means did you use for the clocking? Stop watch, G-Tech, drag strip, ect?
