Charger SRT-8 That thing got a Hemi? Indeed, a 6.1L Hemi that is. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 pounds the pavement with severe power.

Default New Project at our shop........

Hey guy's,
I thought I would post up the new project at our shop. It's a 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8, we have based lined the car on the dyno straight from the factory. When the car was dyno'd it had only 250 miles on it and made some pretty decent power. You can check out the dyno sheet on our site, heres the link, http://www.strippermotorsports.com/shop.html

What's next?? Well we plan on a K&N CAI, Dynatech headers, Zoomers cat back exhaust, Stripper Motorsports CNC ported TB, and to cap it all off.....................a direct port nitrous system. We wil be updating our site as we go and we will also be getting some track times out of it. Stay tuned......it should be pretty interesting when it's all done!!

Let us know if you have any questions a long the way. Also remember we can duplicate anything we do on this car for you!!

Thanks,
Brad

Cool. I'm guessing you guys are shooting for atleast 550-600HP. That would be one serious sedan.

Stripper,

Can you give us dyno sheets on the car after each mod? I for one have no interest in reducing my motor's life expectancy with nitrous but am curious about some of your other mods.

If you can do a mod then dyno it, I'd love to see the results. I'm always looking for new mods to get my baby just a bit faster!

Everyone thinks nitrous is like taking crack or something. If your setup is done correctly and you run a small shot of nitrous your motor will be fine. When you hear of problems its usually when idiots are running like a 150shot of nitrous on basically a stock motor. But your 6.1L Hemi engine could handle alittle 50-75shot which bring you into the 12's in the 1/4mile.

Any and all nitrous damages the motor over time. Any kind of forced induction such as superchargers and turbos do as well, although nitrous causes the most amount of stress.

At this time there are no supporting products for our HEMIs to make them handle this stress. No racing pistons, rockers, valves.... nothing. Until they do I can't see how or why rational people would put nitrous on their HEMI.

Nitrous doesn't interest me because I don't go to the track often enough, and anyone who uses nitrous on a public street should be hung by their *******, they are endangering lives if they do.

Well extra work should not be needed on the hemi engine if you only plan on using like a 50shot for use that track every other weekend or something.

We should be able to give dyno results after each mod, or at least most. I will try for after every mod though.
