small issues
At 8000kms(4800mi)I am happy with the all around package of the Magnum. There are only 3 issues i want to resolve.1-Blue smoke on cold start(possible valve guide problem???)2-Brake shudder at approx 80k(50mph)3-Transmission whine.
HAs anyone else experienced any of these problems on the Charger or Magnum???I am confident that these problems will be remedied.I haven't been to the dealership to discuss them yet.

I have not noticed blue smoke or brake shuddering, but I definately have noticed the transmission whine coming from my Charger. Apparentally, it is a problem common to all the SRT-8s. I know for a fact that the SRT engineers have been addressed with this issue many a time in the past, but so far have not come up with any solutions. I now have over 7000 kms on my Charger and have not noticed any performance issues with the transmission as of yet (knock on wood!).
Somehow, I doubt that there will ever be a resolution to this issue. Whenever they were confronted with this problem, they claimed that their test vehicles did not make the noise and that they would look into it further. (I'm getting all this info from the SRT chat sessions over at srtforums.com by the way)
I for one am deeply frustrated by this issue since it's a noise that a new car should never make (similar to the extraordinarily squeaky brake pads). Nothing is more embarassing than pulling to a stop at a set of traffic lights and having your car sound like Mr. Peabody's Way-Back Machine! LoL
