Hey folks, first post so Iwill try to get to the point.

My audio system seems to clip or make a loud popping noise, even at low volumes, on CDs and some Sat stations. Has anyone had this problem or heard of this problem?

Any help would be great.

 

I have the exact same problem with my Charger! I have taken it back to the dealership time and time again to get it diagnosed, but nothing! I reckon it's some sort of amp setting causing the problem, but unfortunately the dealership mechanics are useless when it comes to problems of this variety. Pointlessly, they replaced my 6x9s not once but twice. I've all but given up on fixing this problem.

 

I have the same problem with my ChargerR/T.The dealership has no idea what is goin on. They have replaced the head unit and that didn't work. Have had the problem since the first day I got the car in August. The dealership now has ordered a wiring harness and a amp but has been backordered until sometime Feb.

 

I even tried emailing Kicker once...never got a reply back. Talk about great customer service!

 

maybe the speaker/amp is blown...i wouldnt send emails...id call people...let me tell you...from first hand experience...kicker makes a good product hands down...wish you all the best of luck!
