Chrysler never made a "posi" they made the "sure-grip". They are not easy to find for an A body. Unless you can find someone parting a car, I suggest E-bay or craigs list, but be prepared to fork over some big bucks if you need the complete alxe housing too.

There is a 8.75 open rear on e-bay right now with a buy-it-now of like $650.00. Like I said lotsa coin!
The Sure grip unit seems to be going for about the same price, but it should drop right into the open housing, so you are probably looking at about 12-1500.

If you can find the 8 3/4 housing for A body, you can also then slap in a center "chunk" from Randy's Ring and Pinion with whatever ratio 8 3/4 will take (large selection). 489 cases are generally easier to find and less expensive too. Both 489's and 742 casings for center sections were used w/ 8 3/4 housings.

I've had great luck w/ Randy's...but not cheap..but all freshly re-done and ready to rock & roll
