socket size for

hi, does anyone know what size socket i need to remove my harmonic balancer on a 72 340? thanks later rick

I believe 1 1/8 will work. 1 1/4 has a bit of play. Also, you'll need to borrow, buy or rent a gear puller but it will not be expensive.
