looking for 1973 Dodge Dart Sport 340
Hello! I'm searching for a Dart Sport my dad bought new in 73. He eventually had to sell it, and now really wants to know what happened to it or possibly buy it back. I have the original window sticker. I was hoping to get some advice on the best way to look for it. He bought the car in Arkansas, and I had a state trooper friend run the VIN with no luck. Though, I'm not entirely sure how far back their system goes. I haven't paid any of the vehicle history report sites yet because I wasn't sure if it would be worth it. Any advice would be very much appreciated!!
Also, if finding this car is not possible dad still wants to find one like it. So we are looking to buy!
Thank you so much

I have a 1973 Dart Sport, which I found by a barn in rural Missouri. I purchased it as a package deal with a 1970 Duster. I'll be building the Duster into a drag racing car for myself. So, the Dart Sport is definitely in need of a good home!
The Dart Sport is an H-Code (340 V-8), with a 727 automatic transmission, and an 8 3/4 differential. I can give you the VIN# to check it out, but I would prefer you send me a private email for that. Let me know if you have any other questions, please. My email address is johnsonma30@sbcglobal.net.
Thanks,

Pennsylvania state could not trace my Super Bee even though I am the third owner. It was bought new at Mr. Norms Grand Spaulding and for some reason states have problems tracking out of state titles. My Coronet R/T has the two previous owners and I found on of the previous owners, who restored it, on this forum (goldduster). You could ask on www.forabodiesonly.com as that site is dedicated to the Mopar A body.
