engine/trans/rear end swap in duster
OK, so i know a 80 Plymouth Volare Duster isn't an A body, (it's an F)
but anyways, I recently put a rebuilt 318 from a caravelle into the volare duster, and put the stock caravelle transmission in with it. The stock caravelle tranny doesn't have the greatest gearing, and i'm currently in the process of purchasing a 727 trans. Any ideas with the stall converter, and torque converter? 2500 stall maybe? it's a street driver, but i want it to plant you in the seat. as well, would an 8 3/4 rear end (sure grip) from a B body bolt straight in, without a new driveshaft, and without any major modifications? Any idea where to find a 8 3/4 rear end? Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
